Lubbock LTC Nursing and Rehabilitation

first I just want to post my serious concerns with the staff here. first upon arrival the staff was friendly nice and accommodating. physical staff IS Phenomenal, love it. Now the nursing staff, when first got here I was told that I had blood pressure and placed me on bp meds. Now first my bp was took with inaccurate/outdated bp machines from Walmart, after a few days of being on bp meds .................... WOW now as I'm literally writing this post a nurse came to give me my IV meds in my central line and this particular nurse gave me someone else's medication. I immediately asked to take it off. I'm glad that another nurse has educated me to check the label on my meds to make sure that it's mine. But please be aware with who is staying in here like family or loved ones cause there is ne

Took my husband after a surgery. The place was not what I expected. There were nails sticking out the wall and at that time my husband didn't have good balance and would fall back so that nail sticking out scared me.theyput my husband in a tiny room small like a bathroom together with an elderly man there no chairs had to sit on a potty chair. My husband needed a wheel chair brought a chair when he tried to stand up he took the sides with him that chair was broken and unsafe.he was there for 3 days no shower.they never went in to check up on him I know cause I stayed there all day till closing time. I felt my husband was not being taken care of. Long story short I get a phone call that he was founded on d floor he had fallen but he was OK. I hung up n work my son up n said that's it get d

my husband was transferred here and this place is horrible nursing staff are good but yet haven't seen housekeeping around the kitchen counters are dirty the stove and microwave are dirty with food stuck on it and the sink by the stove has dirty old towels with what looks like coffee spilled clean up same juice gets served for all meals and if they aren't serving apple sauce it's a fruit cup I've not seen no kind of activity going on some one was choking they never called EMS for evaluation

They took care of my uncle for about 6 months and AFTER he died they wana charge me for $9000 for fees not paid by medicare. This is after they told me he was covered. They don't let anyone stay who can't pay so why did they let him stay and try to charge me 3 months after he died!!

This place has a undistinguished reputation but is actually ok. Newly renovated and under new management. Not the fanciest place but a great choice for loved ones when finances are tight.
