Lu Lau was recommended to me by one of my friends and I am very grateful and thankful for the decision I made. Eric was very responsive and made sure I had the right patient for the clinical exam. What's amazing is that they even have back up patients. Having known how stressful it is to find a patient, especially in a new place, Lu Lau Dental consultants make it really stress free , at least in getting the right patient for the respective clinical exam. I am extremely grateful and thankful to Eric, Mrs. Lau and their entire team for the all the efforts they put together to make sure that I had a patient ( with charts, X-Rays). I am really thankful for finding Lu Lau Dental exam consultants when I needed patients for my CDCA exam ,wish I knew about them earlier when I had to find patients as a student few years back. Being recently moved from where I was practicing to a different state, I found out about their service and contacted them. Eric was very polite and helpful from the start, after talking to him I knew that they were well acquainted with the exam and patient requirements. On the exam they provided me the perfect size lesions and good patients. They came prepared with all Paper work so no need to worry about anything, just need to do dentistry. Although I didn't get to review my lesions until the day before (Eric had a medical emergency to attend to but also made every effort to keep in touch and get me ready for the exam), I got to meet all my patients personally and review lesions with Dr. Lau. If you have any concerns, they are open to discussion. Just call/email/talk to them if you have any concerns, they will respond. Also remember that you are the one ultimately responsible for diagnosing caries and perio. All my patients were accepted on exam day. Dr. Lau and Lu and their staff are very sweet people. Lu Lau assisted me with finding a patient for California's WREB exam. The patient they provided arrived on time (early actually) to test day, and was approved quickly by the examiners. The Class II was a perfect size, and the patient was easy to work on. The perio patient's calculus was a bit tenacious, but with 3 hours to finish the cleaning, there was plenty of time to get his teeth cleaned completely. The Lu Lau team also helped me find a dental assistant for the exam on very short notice. The only negative would be that I didn't get called about picking up my patient's file until only a couple days before the exam, and I would've preferred maybe having that information just a bit earlier. I have to admit that I was a little hesitant about using a patient procurement service for my WREB exam. I have heard and read some not so flattering reports from other candidates about their experiences. I decided to give Lau a chance since I was taking the board far from home. I am very happy with my decision. They have exceeded expectations and actually made special effort to insure that everything went well.
