Hello! We absolutely love Dr Usma Ansari and her team at Lowes Island Dentistry. Thank you so much for the wonderful care during my daughter's dental surgery ( 4 wisdom teeth removal). As my teenager has always been anxious about dental visits or procedures, I truly appreciate the gentle approach and the time taken by Dr Ansari in ensuring that my daughter was comfortable throughout the dental process. Dr Ansari even called home the same day of the procedure to check up on my daughter's wellbeing and the healing process. I visited my dentist today, and this office is truly top-notch—from the front desk to the dentist herself. The front office staff is always wonderful and welcoming. Adriana, the dental assistant, was fantastic. Today, my cleaning was done by Li, and I have to say, at 60 years young, I’ve never experienced a cleaning like this before. She was absolutely amazing—thorough, gentle, and incredibly skilled. The best I’ve ever had! And of course, I can’t forget Dr. Ansari. Her compassion for her patients goes above and beyond her skills- and that says a lot, because her skills are easily an A+. The only reason why I give them 4 stars rather than 5 stars is because I almost always have to wait at least 15 minutes after my appointment time is scheduled. Other than that, everyone is super nice!

I was very disappointed with this dentist office, especially Dr. Ansari. She told me I needed thousands of dollars’ worth of procedures right away or else my veneer would fall out. The pressure was intense, like I had no choice. Thankfully, I went for a second opinion — and learned that nothing was urgent. One cavity she claimed I had didn’t even exist, and the “discounts” she offered weren’t valid with my insurance, meaning I would have been stuck paying out of pocket. Beyond that, her behavior was unprofessional. She was rude to the dental assistant and front desk staff, which was uncomfortable to witness. I have been going to Lowes Island Dentistry for nearly 30 years. I needed to have a crown replacement before I had a knee replacement. Dr. Ansari and her team put a rush order on my crown to ensure it arrived before my surgery date. Dr. Ansari is very knowledgeable and keeps up to date on new or improved services. She also takes time to teach and train students who are entering the dental profession. I highly recommend this practice because they offer many services while taking the time to be personable. They treat their patients with respect and kindness.
