Louis A. Huy, D.M.D.

Dr. Huy has been nothing but pleasant with me through my multiple visits to him over the last three to four years). I have lost most of my teeth (earlier than most) due to trauma to the mouth when I was a little kid. He knows I have dental anxiety and tries to get me to relax by telling me jokes. When he has removed my teeth --or what is left of them, he always tells me what he is doing every step and asks me if I am okay as well during it. The only negative thing about his place is that you go in for a "consult" visit first, and then they have you schedule a follow up to do whatever procedure needs to be done, so it can be a couple months between the two. I highly recommend Dr. Huy if you want someone to make you comfortable and who explains to you the process of what they will be doing

Went for a wisdom tooth removal consultation. Saw Dr. Huy and it was anything but pleasant. I tried to tell him that I had a dental phobia and he did all but laugh in my face. He was EXTREMELY rude, didn’t let me speak or ask questions, didn’t hear me out, was clearly rushed, then told me I had to be intubated to get it removed because my anxiety and other health issues with no real explanation. Yelled at me for wearing earrings during my X-ray… even though the hygienist said it was fine. Made me feel extremely dumb. I felt anything but comfortable here. The appointment ended in tears and I know it’s not his job to comfort me, but him being downright rude to me was unexpected. I am so disappointed at the lack of professionalism from Dr. Huy. I also feel traumatized by the whole situation.

Dr Huy is unprofessional. He doesn’t comfort his dental patients whatsoever and is rude. You likely will not have a good experience under Dr. Huy’s care.

I saw dr.hug for a tooth extraction I thought he was professional and caring he explained the procedure as he worked I experienced very little pain
