Lorie Lepley Parks, OD

I had to be seen for a possible emergency in the beginning of the year. Lorie certainly acted like it was a big inconvenience, even though she agreed to see me. She didn't even acknowledge me when I said goodbye to her leaving my appointment. There was a $40 bill that I was working with my insurance on getting it covered. Since I didn't pay this bill in what they consider a timely matter, they discharged me from the office. Over $40. I dont recommend this office as it's very clear what they really care about. Zero empathy for thier patients.

You guys are so ignorant. You told me the eyeglasses rule didn't apply to me because it was enacted after my appointment. The eyeglass rule was made in 1978. They updated it recently but you are required, since 1978, to provide the prescription to me after the appointment. The Eyeglass Rule is a regulation established by the Federal Trade Commission, which means it is a rule rather than a law. However, it has the force of law because it is enforced by the FTC, and eye doctors are legally required to comply with it. I expect my prescription in the mail or I will be contacting the federal trade commission and the Maine state licensing board.

Dr. Parks has been my Dr. for over 20 years. She has been with me thru cataracts, glaucoma, and uveitis. She is always very thorough, patient and Kind. She is and will always be my favorite doctor! I recommend her highly.

Lorie Parks has been my eye doctor since I’ve moved back to Maine, and she is the best eye doctor I’ve ever had. She is thorough, a careful listener with a gentle touch, and able to explain what is happening with my vision in language I understand. I recommend her without reservation!

I would not recommend lorie parks eye care to any one my new lenses were no better then my old ones the girls were rude, an insulting .i received my glass in poor condition they were twisted an nose piece was bent an falling off. I went back 4 times hoping they would fix them, two of the girls took them out back to fix .i could not belive it when they brough them back to me in the same condition plus my vision was still blurry i was so upset i gave up.Its was a waste of time an money.So went to Feilds eye care in palmyra .What a difference they were very nice and did a wonderful job .I can see Cristal clear now and i love my new glasses
