Lori J. Cretella, MD - Neurology - Northeast Medical Group

I have been seeing Dr. Cretella for about a year now. She is by far the most thorough neurologist I have seen in many years. She is the only one that has considered new approaches and new procedures for me. I trust her completely and value her opinion. Her staff (especially Kay) has always been cheerful and helpful whether in person or on the phone. I highly recommend this practice to anyone having neurological issues.

I saw Dr Cretella today for the first time and I am so happy I did. Dr Cretella was kind, compassionate and very attentive. She didn’t rush my appointment and explained everything thoroughly. I highly recommend her!

Worst experience I have ever had with a medical "professional". Doesn't listen to patients. One has to repeat over and over. Barely seems interested whatsoever. Says conflicting and inconsistent things and doesn't make much sense. It appeared that she was pressed for time from the outset of our appointment and was in a hurry to leave. Had shocking lack of knowledge on what I would consider basic things a neurologist should know. Also, her notes from the appointment were completely inaccurate, it was like she was not even present at all.

Dr. Lori Cretella treated my husband during his Parkinson's disease and was amazing with him. She was sympathetic to his problems and mine. She treated him with dignity and respect. He has passed and now Dr. Cretella is my doctor, treating me for migraine headaches and is still just as understanding and amazing. She is a very professional and brilliant doctor.

I was referred to Dr. Cretella. She’s unprofessional, and has no compassion or empathy for human beings. She seemed to find a sinister joy in basically telling me that my condition would be lifelong and hard to manage. (even though she had no idea what it is and gave no diagnosis). It was clear she was trying to ruin my day, but I know better and I saw right through to her misery.
