Mixed experiences with Longwood - started out as a great help with our health challenged puppy. As our case grew more complicated it was harder to get a plan of action together without having a 'primary' vet - some docs were friendly and in the weeds with us and others felt like they weren't fully engaged. Ultimately we decided to leave after calling to refill a prescription and a vet recommended a different drug Librela - our dog had a terrible reaction and after a quick google we found out that the drug can have steep side effects that weren't explained. When we called to speak to the vet the response was pretty dismissive. For the heaps of cash we were regularly forking over to help this sick pup we hoped to find a more engaged and proactive vet. After 3 previous vets visits with my furry family member to vets in the area in which I live, I thought i would never find a vet that I could trust with MJ (my dogs name). We looked for vets and found this vet and decided to give this agent a try. MJ is now 3 and he started going to Longwood, when he was just 1 yr and 2 months old. We have not looked back. Dr. McCabe is great with MJ who has "White Coat Syndrome" and has warmed up to MJ. Dr. Freeman is also amazing as she actually has no fear of MJ my 100 pound family member. The staff here is divers, appropriate, smile when we enter and calls MJ by his name and treats us with red carpet status. I rate this company as the number 1 vet within a 200 mile radius in which I and my partner have given a try. Edward, James and MJ

A friend died and left me her chihuahua. As a new pet owner I had many questions, most of which weren't answered. I called with a very important question that needed an immediate answer, and was told someone would call me back, but no one ever did. I also find it discouraging that every time you go to Longwood Vet Center, you get a different doctor who doesn't really know your dog. And yes, they are terribly expensive. They are very convenient, but I think Imay start looking for another vet.

We moved to PA a year ago, and brought with us our dog Gander, who had been newly diagnosed with Discoid Lupus at the time of our move. Longwood was recommended to me, so Gander started seeing Dr. Strine soon after we arrived. She and the clinic have been fantastic at working to find the right treatment for him. Love the physical plant of the clinic, the ability to get appointments when needed, but mostly the caring and professional staff. Special thanks to Dr. Strine for her clinical expertise at keeping our Gander happy and his medical issues under control.

Thanks to all for taking such good care of Mya! We were up all night with her with diarrhea and vomiting. We were sick with worry. The staff took her in, ran some tests, and got her back on the mend. She went home the next day and was doing much better. Thank you!
