Long Island Allergy and Asthma

Dr. Cymerman is extremely knowledgeable and is both efficient and effective during each visit. She has successfully helped me create a plan to control my asthma and decrease its severity. The team is amazing here at Long Island Allergy and Asthma. From the time you walk in, to the time you walk out, you will have had a welcoming and pleasant experience. The receptionist team is wonderful, and the nurse practitioners / medical assistants are excellent. Highly recommend!

Been a patient for over 20 years. Dr. Cymerman is a consummate professional. She is a dedicated, hard working, results oriented patient advocate.

Wasted my time. I made an appointment and they don’t check the insurance and referral information accurately. Waited days to let me know. Poor patient communication with individuals. I will be finding a new allergist and office.

I cannot even put into words how thankful and grateful I am for the amazing, empathetic and knowledgeable individuals at this office. From the secretary, office manager, nurse, assistant and transcriber (who will be an incredible doctor one day), and the Lovely NP Pat every experience with these people was exemplary. I am someone with a very extensive medical history. They made me feel heard, they truly cared and for the first time in a long time of seeing multitudes of medical professionals of all specialities, I actually look forward to seeing them again. I cannot thank you enough.

Drove 40 mins to my appointment just to get turned away for having my 7 year old child with me. Than told me to sit in the car and do a telehealth appointment instead. They couldn’t tell me how long I’d have to sit in a car and wait when it’s 80 degrees outside and waste gas ($5 a gallon) because if I drove home I could miss the Telehealth appointment. They than tried to say “Stonybrook doesn’t allow children” such a lie. I have never had this issue in any other office. Office girls were in dispute with the steps on how to allow me to attend this visit. Clearly this office has something against children.
