Lomita Post-Acute Care Center

After our mother was hospitalized for a week, she needed to be transferred to a rehabilitation center. We reviewed all the rehabilitation facilities in the South Bay area. Lomita Post-Acute Care Center was one of the top four on the list. We visited three of them, each with its own strengths, making it difficult to decide. The fact that LPACC offered private rooms made us lean toward choosing it. My mom stayed here a month and half. The facility is very clean. There are no unpleasant odors anywhere. The staffs here are all very diligent, well trained, and friendly toward elderly patients. The physical therapy programs and the therapists are excellent. We would like to specially THANK to : 1. First impression: very kind, professional and Knowledgeable staff. Very patient as well. Clean, even during remodel and NO bad smells in the facility. Facility Rep. mtg was productive. Nurse showed Humility and Integrity with small issues that arose. Great Physical and Or Therapy Staff.

This review has been a long time coming...our 81 year old mom spent 3 whole months at LPACC due to a bad pelvic fracture that left her non-weight bearing for 8+ weeks. My sister and I spent every single day there with her for long days so we got to know the staff and they knocked it out of the park! Kyle runs an amazing facility and they are like a family, embracing the patients and their families with heart and friendly smiles. From their expert PT/OT staff led by the incredible (and very funny) Dr. Marshall who oversees the patients, and his amazing sidekick Judy, along with the head of PT, Kim to Nelly who runs the Activities Center, to Mary and Zarna who helm social services and Joy who runs the nursing division - all are extraordinary. The staff were kind, professional, and always willing to help. The facility is well organized. I truly appreciate the care they gave and would definitely recommend this place.

My grandmother Yvonne wills was here . I came to visit her and caught the nurses hosing her down in her room with the sliding glass door open and it was raining outside. She was 93 .her uses were given tips by my mom. She was later taken to a hospital with head and body injuries. These ppl are lucky I let them live. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONE HERE .
