I was seen here recently for a VA C&P exam, and had a really good experience. Keep in mind that I'm not basing my review off of whether or not my claims have been approved or denied - an exam is only part of what determines that. What I'm basing my review off of is the positive experience I had with the staff here. The NP who examined me was professional, knowledgeable, caring, and thorough. Having worked in the healthcare sector myself, I have an idea of how much goes into an evaluation. I also know from working in various roles that people can have unrealistic expectations at times. This is just my opinion, but if you want to have a good experience during your C&P exam, don't set yourself up for disappointment. I had a terrible experience here today. The front desk receptionist, whom I don’t know her name, but she was a Caucasian (white) woman with brown hair. She was very rude and disrespectful towards me. I am a disabled veteran and I came in asking for help on how to go about making an appointment. The VA healthcare system is very confusing and I had been seen by LHI in 2020, so I went there in hopes to find out more information on how the system works so I can make an appointment. The receptionist gave off very unsettling vibes when she spoke to me as if I wasn’t a veteran or if I was trying to get seen immediately through false pretenses. So I went to the clinic for a C&P exam 2 weeks ago. When I arrived the front desk gal was washing down chairs, when I told her I was there for an appt her response was, LEMME HOLD YOUR ID, very unprofessional in my opinion. But what ever morst front desk folks are short/rude etc. The NP escorted me back to the exam room, the exam/consult took all of 15-20 mins to review 6 things. all that was done was ask me "when did the problem start, that's it. I provided all of the necessary LAB REPORTS/MED PROFILES/RADIOLOGY STUDIES/ She did a range of motion test on my back and that was it bend forward, back, left and right, did not examine my hip, knee, foot for neuro. She spoke polite, but she never looked at me when she spoke, nor was she engaged. In my opinion, the lack of her physical exam

Optum Serve is the most unprofessional organization I’ve ever had the displeasure of knowing. Their front staff is rude and claims not to know when a provider will return to work or there contact information for an exam that was completed nearly 90 days ago. I hope the VA pulls their contract with these jokers.

Front desk receptionist, “Teresa”, was extremely rude. She was not wearing a name badge nor a face mask upon my arrival. My appt was at 0830. I arrived at 0825 and she told me I was “pushing it close”. There was no other person in the waiting room. She didn’t bother to look at my ID card when presented to her and aimed the thermometer at the edge of my head. I work in healthcare and found her behavior to be highly unnecessary and extremely rude. What happened to greeting customers with the greeting of the day and a smile? I hope that no other patient going to this office is met with the same horrible attitude.
