DO NOT COME TO THIS DOCTORS OFFICE!!!! My experience with this office has been incredibly awful. I had my appointment in December and Doctor Torres and the nurse was great, however the nurse told me that I would get a call regarding my bloodwork results in a few days, and as of today February 18, I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED ANY BLOODWORK RESULTS! I have called the office 20+ times. Half the time nobody picks up. When they do pick up, reception tells me the doctor will call me today before they close. Guess what, they still never call!!!! If there was an online portal to view results, It would be perfectly fine. However, there is no portal available and they only want to give results via in person appt or on the phone. I rarely leave reviews, let alone negative ones, but the front office staff couldn’t be more disorganized and poorly ran. First and foremost, I’ve had a wonderful experience with my provider. However, she is the only reason why I stick around as LocalMD is my only way of seeing her for psychotherapy through medicaid. It seems I’m not alone in this experience as most, if not all, of the negative reviews here are about the rude front desk staff. I have mentioned to them several times that, as a clinician myself seeing patients all day, I am unable to respond to all their spam calls/texts during working hours, but they continue to threaten to charge me penalties for not confirming. My psychiatrist, Jhanna Francisco Reyes is the best! She takes the time to listen to me when it comes to which medication works for me and which don't. She works carefully to switch the meds when I'm having issues. Despite sessions being short, she always puts a smile on my face. Also, the office team is great! When I call, they're quick to answer and help me with changing appointments. I highly recommend her if you want a psychiatrist!

I’ve been going to Local MD regularly for my check-ups and I can’t recommend it enough. Wait times aren’t too bad, the staff is super friendly, and my doctor (Dr. Patel) takes the time to address all of my concerns. Fiona usually helps me with my bloodwork and other tests, and she rocks! Bloodwork is always painless, and she is super sweet. All around, can’t ask for a more comfortable appointment experience.

This is my first time leaving an online review. I visited this practice over a month ago seeking assistance, but the process has taken far longer than expected. I attended three separate appointments, and unfortunately, each session felt unproductive. My personal experiences and concerns did not appear to be meaningfully considered or reflected in the final outcome. Although this practice accepts my insurance, I still paid approximately $200 out of pocket for testing that was ineffective and felt useless, in addition to a $15 copay for each session. It genuinely felt like a scam, and overall, the services provided were not helpful and did not justify the time or financial investment.
