Local MD Urgent Care

The nurse was very quiet and bland but she was working on a Sunday so I don't blame her too bad. She wasn't rude just bland. The doctor I saw was very straight forward. Nice and explained everything. Everything went very fast and was great!

While the staff was nice, they do not accept our insurance and we had to be self-pay. I would not mind but when I was given the possible treatments and their prices, the receptionist made no mention of a front side to the paper. I didn't see prices on the front until handing it back to her. So, I essentially agreed to pay for an entire page of treatments that I had no idea about. Our child had an infection and the NP sent the prescription to our pharmacy. Our Pharmacist tried to call back to clarify the dose but they sent the script 15 minutes after they were closed for the day. I can understand the trouble with trying to get a hold of someone after hours but the Pharmacist tried to call up the chain of command (so to speak) and his efforts were fruitless. I was very impressed with this facility and the entire staff. Tara the RNP was so awesome. Her ability to do a multi spectrum nasal swab was great. It's a great tool to help determine the correct diagnosis. We are visiting from Florida. We would use this MD Urgent Care all the time if we lived here.

This was by far the most unprofessional and disorganized medical facility I've ever visited. Neither of the 2 receptionists had any idea how to operate the computer to check me in. The woman who took my vitals and information acts like this is her first day. (She's not a young lady, so I thinks it's safe to assume it's not her first day.) And my personal favorite part of this visit was when the receptionist handed me a biohazard bag with a urinalysis cup in it over the front counter in the lobby and asked me to use the lobby restroom. I was appalled at this. And to top things off, the lobby restroom was locked and no one knew where the key was. Im glad I was just here for a physical and wasn't in need of any treatment. I’ve been here multiple times in order to avoid paying my money to Parkview. The first few times were great and I was very pleased! The last two times I’ve been there for kid’s sickness I have had extremely bad experiences with the receptionists, different women both times. The most recent trip the receptionist interrupted my wife’s conversation with me, didn’t get the response she wanted, and then said “Okay, you’re welcome. Rude.” Getting called rude after you’ve been interrupted is not my definition of good customer service.
