My current ENT specialist recommended I consult with LBH& B because I have great difficulty understanding words in personal and group settings and my hearing without hearing aids dropped sharply during the past year. I feared I might need a cochlear implant. Dr. Scott MacDonald gave me an extensive education on all aspects of hearing and its technology. His analysis was testing with my hearing aids in place. The test indicated I had a sufficient percentage of understood words so that new hearing aids with improved technology should solve the problem.
