Little Star Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics

My daughter has been going to Little Star Dentistry for several years now, and we’ve always had a great experience. The staff is friendly, patient, and professional, they really know how to make kids feel comfortable. The office is always clean and welcoming, and the services are thorough and reliable. I appreciate how they take the time to explain everything clearly and make sure we’re satisfied with every visit. Overall, a solid place with excellent customer service and quality care. Highly recommend.

We were referred here for palette expansion. I didn't think my daughter's current dentist did this because they never mentioned it and so I spoke to little star for their expertise. We had to pay $300 out of pocket for the consult when booking. The receptionist confirmed they took our insurance for the orthodontal work, so I decided to go forward with them. Our daughter was 3.5 years old at the time. We did the full consult, which was lengthy, and they took us late btw. But we were advised to move forward with the expansion starting ASAP. They gave us the paperwork and it was 100% out of pocket. When I questioned the insurance, they said they didn't have it on file, so I gave it to them. Then they came back with the same numbers. My 5 year old son had his upper lip, lower lip and tongue ties released and the entire process/procedure went so smoothly! Dr. Hannanvash is incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and professional. Everyone at the office was so nice and made my son feel comfortable. It wasn’t just about the procedure itself but his airway, sleep and the proper function of his mouth muscles were also taken into account. I highly recommend Dr. Hannanvash and her team at Little Star!

My experience with little star dentistry has been an almost 3 year journey, and not a good one. My firstborn had ties so severe that she was unable to latch well from birth. We finally got her diagnosed/released at 4 weeks old. We were instructed to stretch the wounds every 2 hours during the day and every 4 hours overnight. It was absolutely brutal. My daughter ended up developing an oral/facial aversion from the trauma of stretching and refused to go on to nurse again despite trying for 9 months with 5 different lactation consultants. Fast forward to our current baby. We knew this baby was very likely to have ties too, so we started bodywork/oral work from when he was 3 days old up until our release at 11 days old. We have had a great experience with little star. Everyone has been so friendly and we are excited to see results of our son’s expanders. The whole process has been really straightforward and very informative. Would highly recommend.
