Little Neck Veterinary Clinic

I have been taking multiple pets to this veterinary clinics for close to two decades now. I always loved them for their fair pricing, friendly staff, and most importantly, a veterinarian who, although is very soft-spoken, made me feel heard and cared for. He would patiently listen to my concerns and address my questions without making me feel rushed. However, everything changed for the worst during COVID. The way they operate their clinic has changed immensely. It was understandable that at the time (due to social distancing and precautions), pet owners were not allowed in the exam rooms when their pets were being examined and vaccinated. It's honestly ridiculous how many hoops you have to jump through just to speak with the doctor. Everything is done through the assistants. I've been to many clinics before and I've never experienced this madness. You never see the doctor and you can't even get a call back without basically begging on your knees. How can I trust as a pet owner that my dog is being seen by an actual doctor and the assistants aren't just back there stalling? How can I trust that they actually do what they say they do if I can't be in the room while the treatment is being done? Or at the very LEAST the doctor comes out afterwards and speaks to me. How can I trust that this clinic actually even has a doctor? RIDICULOUS.

Last year, I was recommended by a friend to this clinic, and after seeing all the 5 star reviews on Google, I decided to take my furry baby here. Let me just start off by saying that the prices are very decent, and the receptionists are super nice and helpful. HOWEVER, if you truly care about your dog/cat, you may want to consider finding another vet. First of all, you won’t be able to actually see or speak with Dr. Kim. All consultations of your pet’s conditions are done through the receptionist, whom I believe is also the vet assistant (?). Your dog/cat will be taken to a small room while you are kept outside in the waiting area the entire time. You won’t know what is going on. I needed cremation service for my cat and I was able to reach out to Little Neck Veterinary Clinic and everything was great, and young lady in the front desk was vey kind and very sincere to us while explaining about everything. Its been a week and I received the phone call that our cat arrived at the Clinic, I am with our Jack next to me ( cat who lived with us 11 years as a family), Thank you for your service.

I have been bringing my dog there for a few years now and we (me and the dog) are very happy. Dr Kim is a very knowledgeable veterinarian and can always solve my dog's health problems. Making appointments are very easy, the clinic is always clean and the the staff there is top notch and super friendly. It is very clear that everyone who works there LOVES animals. They take the time to interact with your pet and make them feel comfortable.
