Little Jaws Big Smiles

I’ve been taking my 2 kids to Little Jaws Big Smiles for years. Everyone on the staff is kind and considerate. My daughter recently had a tooth extracted and as we were in the car driving home she said she loved her dentist (Dr. Nolan) because she is kind and gentle. The doctors and support staff makes my kids feel comfortable, they explain everything that is happening during the procedure, and the office is easy to contact and they send reminders constantly. I highly recommend this dentist office.

My neurodiverse 11yo had some traumatic experiences at another pediatric dentist so I decided to try Little Jaws Big Smiles and I'm so glad I did. We were able to do a short first appointment with just an exam. Dr Tansy asked all the right questions and treated my son with respect and compassion. She is just the right mix of kind and firm. She explained all the tools and what she was doing and didn't push him too far. She gave us flexible options for appointments going forward so that we can slowly build up to a full exam with cleaning. This is the first dentist appointment that didn't involve my kid in tears. I hugged her before we left! I am so relieved to have found this place.

I can’t express enough gratitude to Little Jaws, Big Smiles for the exceptional care they provided during my daughter’s lip and tongue tie surgery. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warmth and kindness by the entire staff. The office itself is amazing—welcoming, clean, and clearly designed with kids in mind. Dr. Nolan and the team made us feel so safe and comfortable throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer every single one of our (many!) questions and addressed all of our concerns with patience and understanding. It was clear they genuinely care about their patients and want parents to feel confident and informed. I can’t say enough good things about our recent visit to Little Jaws Big Smiles. My 4-year-old and 5 year old were both anxious and upset initially at the appointment. Our son specifically has some anxiety and sensory needs which are compounded with anything medical. I was bracing for a tough experience. Although we all (kids, staff and mom included) had to ride a few emotional waves throughout, we were able to successfully complete the cleanings. From the moment we walked in, the receptionist greeted us with warmth and understanding. The dental assistant took the time to engage my children gently, showing them the tools and letting them hold a small mirror to get comfortable. Dr. Tansy and the dental assistant were excellent, caring, kind, and direct. I was so nervous about bringing my autistic daughter. Not only were they excellent at what they do, they were excellent at their bedside mannerism and sharing advice on how to make the appointment a successful one. I really hope for all our providers in the medical field to speak to us and our daughter the way that Dr. Tansy did- she is awesome!
