Litchfield Eye Center

As a new client, I had an eye exam and received an eyeglass prescription from this clinic in September. I left for Texas for the winter in October and recently went to a Costco optical department in Texas to purchase two pairs of glasses. When I presented my prescription to the optical department manager, he immediately noticed a problem with my prescription. My OD was -1.75 and my OS was +1.50. He said that it was highly likely the OS was an error. He "read" my glasses on the lensometer which showed the OS lens in my current glasses is -1.50. He contacted the Litchfield clinic by phone and spoke with Jayden, but she refused to believe an error had been made and refused to correct the prescription. I contacted Jayden upon departing Costco and she again argued their position and said that

My experience at Litchfield Eye Center was eye-opening! I spend long hours in front of a computer. Emily educated me on the benefits of computer glasses compared to regular prescription glasses, that computer glasses are meant to be worn for viewing distances from your eyes to the screen and reduce strain during prolonged screen time. Regular glasses are meant for reading or distance vision. The benefits of computer glasses I discovered are decreased eye strain, improved posture at the computer, better focus of the computer screen, and decreased neck strain. I have discovered what the difference between this means and if I do not change from my regular glasses to my computer glasses, I immediately know the difference.
