Back on May 13th 2025 I went in for a routine surgery a double bypass with stents a couple of days went by and I ended up with a bowel obstruction, they rush me back to the OR, Dr Kodadek was my general and trauma surgeon and I'm so grateful to her, the way her team took care of me after surgery was top notch after care, and I deeply appreciate everything everyone did for me. Thank you so so much!!

Dr. Kodadek surgically removed a sebaceous cyst from my back/upper buttock area on August 5, 2025. I saw her for a post op visit on August 22, 2025. I stated that I was feeling fine, BUT was concerned about a FAMILIAR foul smell that was draining from the cyst PRIOR to my surgery. Why was there a smell since the cyst was removed? Her response was, “I’ll have to think about that. You can resume your regular activities. Come back in a month, and if it’s not better, we can do an MRI and find out what’s going on. Maybe something is growing back.” I stated that I would be in Europe in a month’s time, so she told me to come back in two weeks. I was appalled at her lack of concern; she just dismissed me. THERE’S a FOUL SMELL that’s FAMILIAR. Doctors are NOT gods; why not say, “I’m not

Please be warned! While she may be clinically a brilliant surgeon, she seriously lacks ANY empathy, compassion and emotional intelligence. Just another example of most of the physicians in the Northeast. I come from the South where caring and Southern Hospitality is essential to treating the whole patient. So if you're looking for a surgeon who is empathetic and caring, keep moving on.

She was amazing in explaining everything to my cousin Jimmy regarding his surgery as Jim is blind and a bit disabled. I am happy to say he is back to normal and enjoying his life again. Not to mention her incredible surgical skills. Thank you again 😊
