Lindan Park Rehabilitation Center

My mom was there for a few months. Brenda the social worker is rude told my mom to leave she really didn't get to any of the complaints fixed. More than one staff member told my mom to leave because she spoke up about her issues. Never seen a doctor they used OTC medicine from Walmart for coughs and other minor issues. The staff is not very sanitary they used a sock to clean my mom and a sheet to dry her because they didn'thave any clean towels. And the don't clean the shower bed after each patient sometimes my mom would refuse a shower because of seeing little stains on the bed. Was told they don't have cleaning products to sanitize things. When my mother was transferred here for skilled nursing, they were woefully unprepared and didn’t appear to care about her. She was transferred from Medical City Plano and neither the hospital nor Lindan Park ensured that her pain meds made it with her. She was unable to get up on her own, which they were aware of, but when she needed to go to the bathroom they just pointed at the wheelchair and told her to use that to get to the toilet. Around 9 hours after she was brought to the facility, she couldn’t hold her bladder anymore and since no one would help her get up, she was humiliated and wet herself. She ended up calling me while weeping in absolute agony 3 hours after that because her pain medicine still hadn’t been delivered and the cancer in her spine had her crippled with pain. When

Lindan Park has been an absolute blessing to my family during one of the most difficult times of our lives. Seven months ago, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and while she recently passed, the care and compassion she received at this facility will stay with us forever. From day one, the staff went above and beyond—not just in the quality of care, but in the way they treated her and us like family. Tomeiko Seigle in the business office was a godsend. She guided us through the entire process with such grace, compassion, and professionalism. I truly feel like she’s part of my extended family now. And then there was B—my mother adored her. You won't find a better nursing home than Lindan Park! The hardest thing to do is to move your parent into a nursing home, especially when you live out of state, but everyone at Lindan Park has been so wonderful to my mom. The nurses have stayed in constant communication with me and everyone there has treated her like family. They were truly a blessing especially during her last moments last week. I highly recommend this facility!

My wife was admitted for short term medical care and rehab after a week long hospital stay. Very clean facility. The staff was great and frequently checked in on my wife. Good meals and activities. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs short term rehab or long term care for a loved one.
