I attended LMU’s BSN program and want to share insights to help others. You need at least an 80% to pass, but 79.4% is considered failing, which is frustrating. Clinical paperwork took me 12+ hours weekly, seriously cutting into study time. ATI supports your grade but isn’t a pass/fail requirement. Dosage calculation exams happen every semester (4 total), with 3 attempts per exam, 10 questions in 30 minutes. Each course exam had 50 multiple choice questions, and Med-Surg always included 3–5 dosage questions. No course repetition allowed, which means one low grade could end your progress.

I graduated LMU in December of 2022. This school not only prepares you for the NCLEX but helps you build the foundation to be a strong nurse in the field with confidence. I don’t regret going here at all. May seem stressful at first but that’s nursing school for you! I enjoyed my time at this school looking back!

I couldn’t have had a better experience with LMU. Everyone, from the administrative staff to our faculty, was amazing, prepared, and wanted to see us succeed. I recently passed the NCLEX and the studying process was relatively easy because they had already taught me 99% of things I needed to know for the boards, it was only a matter of reviewing. Our program wasn’t easy, but it’s not supposed to be easy, nurses have a big job with a lot of responsibility. Also, they not only prepared us for the NCLEX, but they taught us how to be nurses, and how to think like nurses. They have a partnership with Advent Health which allowed us to have our clinical rotations at their hospitals (even when most schools were doing online clinicals due to COVID). My nursing school experience was great. LMU and the educators really do prepare you fully! It was a grueling 17 months (of course nursing school isn't a cake walk) but I graduated and passed my NCLEX the first try!
