We moved south of Saint Augustine Unfortunately too far to drive but I saw your website and wanted to thank Dr Luz For five years my daughter Hannah was at office and her teen anxiety and stomach issues were dealt with most professionally with good references to Nemours and great advice and perfect diagnosis. My other child - son was always welcomed in for strep tests and all necessary with all the seasonal sicknesses etc Never were my children over-diagnosed or over-medicated unless bacterial infection. The bedside manner very comforting. We very much found the office dog and the baby with receptionist a great revelation of a family pediatrician with good intentions for family and the whole person healing. We will miss the office! I have a few personal qualms about the place and their vaccine policies, but that has nothing to do with the care. The place would deserve a solid 4-5 stars But we have been going for over a year, and the AC hasn't worked the whole time. It's hot as hell in the waiting rooms, and it doesn't seem they plan to fix it any time soon. It makes me cranky, it makes the kids cranky. Then they come in and start messing with the baby. Not a great combo usually. Again, not the staff fault. All the ladies are extremely nice and professional. But sometimes you're in a waiting room for 30 minutes (usually only 10ish) and it's HOT. Pretty sure at least several of the waiting rooms literally don't have duct work blowing air into them. Hallway temp is decent, but the rooms are stifling. Always NOT looking

I’ve been bringing my kids here for a few years and have always appreciated the care, but unfortunately our last visit was very difficult. We arrived early for our appointment (I live an hour away), but the sick room and exam room we were placed in did not have working AC. The lobby was very full, so we sat in the “sick room”, (my child was sick) which was extremely hot. Later, we were taken to another room that was also without AC. After waiting for about an hour, my kids became very uncomfortable from the heat, and we ultimately had to leave without being seen. I truly valued the care this office usually provides, but I hope improvements can be made to the facility so families don’t have to experience this.

We’ve brought all 4 of our kids in to see Dr Luz throughout their lives, and we’ve never been disappointed! The Dr and his staff are so great and friendly! They love watching the fish in the tank while waiting on their appointments, and we love everyone here! Happy kids, waiting on the doctor: that says it all!

I left this office wanting to cry. This was my first visit at a new pediatrician upon moving to Florida with my 10 month old. I always try to give people the benefit of the doubt but how can every person in this office be SO MISERABLE. To the front desk folks… SMILE! You are the face of a PEDIATRICIANS office. Moms walk in there stressed and unsure and being addressed with a cold, straight faced “how can I help you” was rough. To the check out lady.. you’ve got to do better. You were SO rude and short to every single person I saw you speak to. My appointment was 35 minutes behind and the blonde tech or whomever brought us back was again - MISERABLE. When you’re taking my 10 month olds weight maybe acknowledge him? Smile? After I was asked to call my previous pediatrician 15 min into my vis
