Life Care Center of Winter Haven

My wife Lorna moved in here to the memory care unit over 4 months ago from Lake Mariam. This place is very nice and clean. The staff is very good and they are on top of Lorna’s needed eye drop medication and it’s helped her immensely. I think Lorna loves it here, add a great kitchen staff, plus the food is very good. I can also buy a dinner and eat with her occasionally at a modest price. The hallways are brighter, a beautifully designed building and lovely lunch area with places for hair care professionals and Lorna has her hair shampooed and cut in the local salon with Crissy in the building. Also, there’s an ice cream parlor down the hall towards the front as well. Great parking and easy access to the main entrance.! Plus I can join her for a movie in the media center and have a snack.

Visiting a friend at this facility. Place appeared clean, staff were attentive and friendly. Overall atmosphere left me with a good feeling that my friend was being well cared for…

Only one nurse took great care Quee the only one to answer call light quickly, took great care of getting needs met without complaining. It may be a clean environment but the staff can be rude. Upon discharge they had him out front alone in wheelchair with a bag but none of his clothes were sent home. He left in a gown. I was told to pick him up out front was not told to go to the room. Still don't have his belongings

The workers are extremely nice and attentive. I really appreciate how they took care of my grandma. The clinical staff were very understanding and respectful. They made sure my grandma felt comfortable throughout her care. They go above and beyond to make everyone feel included. Highly recommend!

There are plenty of things I could list about this amazing place.. Hello! My name is Tracy Kreider. I am Anita Morrisons daughter. I call almost daily and until my own health issues arose, I visited my Mom every 8-10 weeks there in Florida- coming from Michigan..... I stayed at the house, multiple hospital visits and another facility before she was placed there a little over a year ago. That was our dream to get her into that particular facility!! It was the biggest biggest blessing that my mom was able to secure a bed there!! I have beautiful memories of me and my Mom together thru my life and I've made some fabulous memories in the two years prior to her arriving at Life Care.. I am so thankful that Don is there every single day and lets me talk to her on the phone and often we do
