Life Care Center of Plymouth

It was,Christmas Eve when i arrived from BIDH. Melissa in her Christmas get-up lifted spirits quickly. Andrew, head of CNA made every interaction enjoyable. Pam , Case Mgr, did a great job and we laughed together. I was in room 133 for 2 weeks and the entire staff was wonderful. PT and OT put me thru my paces too. Everyone was professional and friendly. If you have to spend time there, they do their best to make it comfortable. Angela

I don’t fill out many review forms but in this case I absolutely need to share our experience with the Plymouth Life Care Center. My father had surgery at BID and needed to continue IV treatments and improve his strength. Everything from the facility, to the nurses, physical therapists, the cleaning, kitchen, and administrative staff, was INCREDIBLY GOOD!!! Surpassed all our expectations, and the food was great. That never happens, but LCC made it happen. Very clear they love the job, and very clear the facility manager (John) has done an amazing job. Special shout outs to Chloe, Melissa and Michele for making Dads experience a heal and learning experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you….

Staff is wonderul, really wonderful. However today when I walked in to my dad’s room early AM I met the nurse practitioner there talking with him. She immediately seemed rushed to leave and not engage. She didn’t take a few minutes to introduce herself and explain that a med scheduling request my dad had made last evening was being rejected by her. This caused some distress for my dad when I went to leave and confusion on my part. Not a great way to end an otherwise nice visit with many pluses created by other staff members. Just would have been nice if she had taken a few minutes to explain the reasoning for his request being rejected. She just didn’t seem at all interested in engaging with a family member.

A Grateful Heart I want to take a moment to share, from the deepest part of my heart, how truly thankful I am for the entire team at Life Care Center of Plymouth. My journey over the past year has been far from easy — three back surgeries since September 11th, 2024, each one more challenging than the last. After my first surgery, I went to another rehab facility, but when complications arose, I found myself at Life Care… and it was there that I finally felt safe, supported, and seen. From the very beginning, every single person I encountered — nurses, physician assistants, CNAs, physical and occupational therapists, laundry and housekeeping staff, activities team, kitchen crew — made me feel like more than just a patient. You treated me like a person. With compassion, dignity, and care

As the spouse of a patient, I met with several administrators yesterday and these past few days I have been pleasantly overwhelmed with communication and follow up. We are still in the initial stages, it seems, but I feel very much a part of the team on behalf of my bride!
