Life Care Center of North Glendale

My father has been staying here recently. The nurses and staff seems to be very nice and sweet but the building is in rough shape inside and outside of the building The outdoor courtyard with a fountain is not even on and in disrepair. The walls need repaired and the floors need to be repaired it seems like the entire building is in rough shape and needs repaired.

My wife has been at Life Care Center of North Glendale recovering from a fall that resulted in a head injury and concussion. The nurses and all of the staff have been taking very good care of her. Her room is clean and quiet. She is receiving physical therapy every day, is healing and making good progress. It is easy for me to visit my wife. The parking is convenient and close to the entrance. Her room is large enough to accommodate visitors. I can even bring our dog to visit her. Overall we are very pleased and would give Life Care Center of North Glendale a very good recommendation.

Life Care of north Glendale is very clean and the rooms and hallways are very wide, so that patients have plenty of room to move around in wheelchairs or walk. The staff has been very knowledgeable and friendly. There were issues getting medications administered to my family member and it took a long time to resolve. But other than that my experience with this place was positive.

If I could leave a negative star review i would rate it negative 10. My uncle was brought here to get help changing the bandages on his foot and lag from the burn hospital. The Staff here is rude, inconsiderate, makes patients wait for hours before changing bandages or to give the patients their meds. So again I would not recommend bringing your loved ones here. Also the facility is way out dated like early 80s to meds 80s look in the rooms

Staff seemed nice but can feel the tension between staff members. My mother was put in a diaper and left in a bed or wheelchair. She didn't like the food so she got weaker over 2 weeks. She did do pt but I believe wasn't enough. I told her nurse she would be better at home she said I agree. Within a day of being home she was up and moving on her own and able to use bathroom herself. I get it they don't have enough staff but how is this rehabilitation working when they getting weaker because of the care they are not receiving. Please work on this the senior citizens deserve better care!
