Life Care Center of Charleston

I had a wonderful experience with the team at Life Care Center of Charleston. The staff consistently demonstrated professionalism, compassion, and genuine care for residents and families. Communication was clear and timely, therapy services were attentive and goal-focused, and the nursing team was responsive to needs day and night. The facility was clean, welcoming, and well-organized, creating a comfortable environment for recovery. It’s evident the team truly cares about patient outcomes and dignity. I would confidently recommend Life Care Center of Charleston to anyone needing short-term rehabilitation or long-term care.

My mother and I went to view the facility after business hours on a weekday. We were greeted by a nurse who worked at the facility for more than 10 years and she was happy to provide us with an unannounced tour for a possible placement. A few months later my grandmother moved in and not only do I visit her but I speak with the other residents who are happy at the facility and the staff are always accommodating and pleasurable whenever I visit. My grandmother and residents participate in activities during the day and church services on the weekend. I feel like I have added on to my family when I visit because the staff and residents are welcoming.

We’ve had the pleasure of partnering with Lifecare through Wels Care Wound Care and it has been a fantastic experience! Carol and Amanda in Social Work are incredibly helpful, caring and compassionate, making the discharge process go seamlessly. Blythe in Admissions is always there to help things go smoothly and lend a helping hand. The teamwork and dedication to patient care really make Lifecare stand out. Highly recommend!

My mother has been in the rehab portion of Life Care for almost 2 weeks now after breaking her leg and being ordered to stay off of it completely. The staff are all kind and compassionate, and it is evident she is well cared for. She even loves the food! We are so grateful to everyone at Life Care Centers of Charleston!!!

As a professional in healthcare, I always appreciate the warm welcome and help I receive from Social Srvs and care team members. Their internal updates in flooring and remodel look wonderful too.
