Lewis Pharmacy - 12th & Kiwanis

I dont know how but Jon always knows his customers so well and remembers the prescriptions and information! Always friendly staff and helpful. I've never had an issue or any bad experiences in the years I've been coming here.

I would like to give 5 stars due to past service but ever since a remodel. Idk something about 4/5 people in my family get MONTHLY scripts from here and are autofill through text message and the scripts STILL not being ready after text communication, phone VERBAL communication. My son’s medication tonight WAS THE TIP of this crumbling iceberg. I switched from hy-veeyears ago and Lewis took care of people. Now we have snotty snots at the window and maiming the registers at the pharmacy that don’t have AN OUNCE of customer service or people skills. Which I’m sorry I’m spending how much a month on medication, I’m there upwards of 4x if not more a month and this is the bs that Lewis is allowing to continue.

I am a type 1 diabetic and if you know what that means you jnow how much I use and spend in a pharmacy. I have used this pharmacy at least once a month for a couple years now and there has been something wrong with one or more of my prescriptions almost every time. Items that were paid for but not give, prescriptions run incorrectly giving me incorrect medication or incorrect quantities. I always request my refills with at least a weeks notice and still don't receive communication when something is needed from my doctor resulting in lapse in prescriptions that can be totally prevented with propercommunication. The only reason I continue to go here is because it's the closest one to my home. This pharmacy staff needs to get it together.

I normally have a great experience with the pharmacy team at Lewis but Friday I had the worst customer when I called in to ask questions about a medication that had been sent in, I originally called to see if the medication had received it's prior authorization and see if I could pick up and that's when the conversation took a turn for the worst. I was asking about the the quantity because for some reason my insurance was only filling it for 7 days which I told her I would call them about it but for some reason she kept cutting me off like I didn't understand what she was saying about when it could be refilled which I wasn't, she kept saying those are the insurance rules and I simply was trying to say I was referring to the quantity and not when it could be refilled.
