Legacy at Salina

They allow too much to go one here . I seen the way ppl treat the residents and they way they talk to them . Staff leave the place nasty and expect other staff to clean up there nasty mess. I could say more but I’m not so when you want to place ur loved one in a Nurseing home you really need to look into stuff not to put them anywhere. Cause you don’t know what goes on behind closed doors. They will only tell you what you want to know. And way they talk to other staff members is sad . This place allows too much to go on . And they think they are best place in town well there not . Just think when u want to place a loved one in a Nurseing home ….

My mom was at Legacy at Salina for the past 6 years, until she recently peacefully passed. The staff was always professional, friendly, respectful, and took excellent care of my mom. They truly became family to not only my mom but to me even though I lived in Oklahoma. Their care and love for my mom gave me such comfort and peace especially because I lived far away. They kept me informed and updated on any changes about my mama's health or medications. I could call them at any time if I had concerns and they would follow up with the answers. I also appreciated the routine Care Phone Conferences where they would ask both my mom and I if we felt there were any areas where they could improve, or if we had anything we wanted to discuss. For context, I live in nearby apartments with 1 parking stall to each apartment. There are now several tenants with more than 1 vehicle per apartment, thus requiring on street parking instead of in our designated stalls. Legacy employees have a designated parking lot with around 20 stalls for their employees, which is a marked no parking area for the public. We have seen for the past 6 months multiple Legacy employees pull up, park on street behind other vehicles and not leave enough room for other tenants to park behind or in front of them. Every day we witness Legacy employees park on street and walk into Legacy instead of parking in their lot that has only two of 20 stalls taken up.

Need to use a face reader when entering. Most food is cold by the time you get it. Many Good employees. They seem to care.

The care provided by the staff at Legacy at Salina was exalent they took care of everything I needed to get back on my feet and I would recommend them to anyone for long or short turm care they truly are a wonderful group of people
