I’m so glad I found Dr Skandalakis. He is a fine doctor and surgeon. I was able to get an appointment quickly and with ease. Debbie, the assistant was so kind to get me in quickly to see Dr Skandalakis for an urgent matter. He listened attentively to me as I described what I had been experiencing. He examined me and quickly recognized that I had an urgent issue that required immediate attention. He performed surgery the next morning. He well may possibly have saved my life. In my opinion Dr Skandalakis is a great example for other doctors/surgeons to follow. Absolutely the best. Saved my husband, literally. Previous surgery for hernia by another Doctor a few years ago led to emergency repair by Dr Skandalakis. He is is an excellent surgeon, caring and kind. Highly recommend him and his expertise. Thank you Dr Skandalakis and Staff!

Dr. Skandalakis performed a robotic repair surgery to repair a reoccurring hernia from a failed traditional surgery from almost 20 years ago (that was done by a different surgeon). The outcome of the surgery with Dr. Skandalakis was astounding. Not only did the fact that it was a second surgery in the same location not phase him, I was without discomfort within a week. At the time of writing this review it’s a year after the surgery and I can’t tell that I’ve had surgery in that location, never mind two surgeries.

Dr. Skandalakis, is a caring and Professional man who about ten years ago did a reverse Colostomy on me & also repaired a incisional Hernia & I have never been more grateful to any Doctor. I went to a Dr. in the Smyrna area & wound up with a Colostomy because of a misdiagnosis as I have Erythrophobia severe with somatic & conversion disorders so Dr.'s do make mistakes with me & Dr. Skandalakis saw how upset & nervous I am & had me wait one year for the reversal so my colon would heal. God sent me this Angel at the time in my life I was about to give up. May Almighty Gods hands keep Blessing this Doctor and the Patients he treats. Jenny Galloway.

I would highly recommend Dr. Lee Skandalakis for anyone needing a hernia repair. My hubby had a procedure done and the whole process was smooth, flawless, and stress free. They are very kind, professional, and super efficient (especially for ATL). They were always on time and we knew exactly what to expect throughout the process.
