Layton Specialty | Ogden Clinic – Gastroenterology, Weight & Metabolic Health

I’ve been trying and failing at getting through to the Gastroenterology department but the automated system tells me the hours of operation are 8 - noon, Google Maps tells me it’s open is this correct? I feel like there should be a HOO for the various Departments listed.

My husband has had an injured back for 5 months. Instead of treatment option being discussed or what the issue is, we are repeatedly asked “what are you going to do if it doesn’t get better” apparently the ONLY options are to have needles stuck in his back without any numbing or pain medication to see how bad it really hurts. Go literally ANYWHERE else but here. They will not take care of you. Trying to schedule an appointment has been one of the most unprofessional and difficult things we have ever experienced. When finally able to get an appointment they won’t take him back because he was less than 15 minutes late, due to vomiting all night. Now waiting in the lobby for an hour and a half, since there was a cancellation, to hopefully be seen. But I highly doubt it will happen. Save yours

My girlfriend has been going there for about 5 months. She has been complaining about her neck and lower back hurting. The doctor ordered an mri for her back but not her neck. She asked for the doctor katrien jack if she would get her an mri for her neck and she said she wants to do one thing at a time. So her next appointment she asked again if she can get an mri of her neck and the doctor just kept changing subjects and said she wants to put her on muscle relaxers but yet still doesn't know what is wrong with her neck since she won't order an mri. She told her that she has pain going to her shoulders on both sides and gets consistent headaches but yet she still didn't order an mri of her neck. Very unprofessional! We will definitely be going to another clinic that's more knowledgeable ab

Dr. Morgan and his assistant doc Robyn are great. They've always taken great care of me. Reading through some of these reviews, I can see some folks with some bad attitudes and they kinda speak for themselves. And as a patient, it is your responsibility to stay on top of your item referrals and insurance matters... But these folks have done a wonderful job of coordinating mine. Yes, I've had to make a call here and there to facilitate a few things but nothing I wouldn't have anticipated. And lastly, there is only so much that injections can do. If you have a full-blown surgical-level problem in your back, of course they are going to tell you that they can't help. Good folks here. Be proactive and educated in your own care and treat others with respect and you'll have no problems here -

I called their office to make an appointment. The lady I spoke to sounded like she couldn’t care less about my situation. She asked me a bunch of questions and said they would get back to me if they felt it was necessary and that was 3 weeks ago. In the meantime my back seized up on me and I am unable to walk. I’m just wondering how bad it has to be to be important enough for a call back. Thank you everyone at Utah spine care for making me feel like absolute garbage.
