Lawton Heritage Compounding Pharmacy

I switched from Walgreens’s since it was always an issue with picking up my prescriptions. This pharmacy and their staff has always been welcoming and very polite. I love this pharmacy because it reminds me of that small town pharmacy I grew up around. I’ve always been able to call in to find out if I or my daughter had prescriptions for pickup and they’ve always helped me and let me know. They were busy one day and was multitasking and still managed to get to everyone in a timely fashion something Walgreens’s lack. Seeing their care for all their clients makes me happy to have chosen to make that easy switch. I never have to wait and they always get me in and out in a jiff. I switched from Walgreens to Lawton Heritage because my family has always had a good experience with them. However a year or so ago we got a letter in the mail that my brother’s insurance was no longer in network. No big deal, we just switched pharmacies. When I brought this up I was told that, that wasn’t true and they were in network with his insurance.. My friend and I have the same insurance, different from my brothers, and she uses Heritage pharmacy so I decided to make the switch. When I called to see if they had my script they were super nice until they asked what the prescription was and when I said it was a controlled substance their attitude completely changed. There the BEST pharmacy I have ever used in my life. They remind me of the pharmacy's they had when I was a child in the 1960s. They have always treated me like Family . Everyone at the Pharmacy is Amazing. I wouldn't go to another pharmacy. I recently got Medicare and they wanted me to charge pharmacy's but instead I changed to a different plan. So I could keep this pharmacy. By far the worse pharmacy experience in my life . I would think with the 4.9 star review that there customer service skills would be atleast medicore. But they were extremely un helpful I had six prescriptions that were supposed to be filled originally I went to pick them up and I received 4 and they had no clue about the other two. The following month I went to get a refill and was told they had to get Dr approval and it would be following day . So I came back to town and went to pick them up and they had no knowledge of any but one so give them a day or two . Well needless to say six months have gone by and I have never been able to receive my medication like I'm supposed to and today was the first time they filled one of my medications that should of been filled. My husband and I have been using this pharmacy for years my husband works crazy hours sometimes and I can’t drive they are more than willing to bring out our meds for us anytime. You will never get the kind service anywhere in Lawton. And my dogs love them too. Thank you
