Lawrenceville Family Practice

I recently had a very disappointing experience that has led me to find a new practice. I made an appointment just two days prior and showed up on time. My husband took time off work and I woke my 7 month old daughter from her nap to be there on time. When I arrived, I was told my appointment had been cancelled because I hadn’t confirmed it. I never received any texts or call from the practice. I checked my phone on the spot and their number was not blocked, and there were no missed texts or calls. The providers here are alright, but nothing I can’t get elsewhere with better office policies. 👌

My wife and I have came here infrequently over the past couple years, ending today. They cancelled her appointment due to “not confirming her appointment” with texts and calls. I reviewed the phone and text logs and nothing was received. I took off work early, and we woke up our 7 month old early from a nap for this. We arrived early and were told this. I don’t know who is managing this practice now, but something needs to change. If I get charged for this, we will have issues. No other doctor has done anything like this to us and I will not stand for this, you lost a patient and I will fight any charges for this that you try and put on me.

I love my doctor's office. Dr. Van Riper is absolutely wonderful. As a D.O., he works incredibly hard to treat your body other than just symptoms by prescribing pill after pill. He truly cares. He invests his time into his practice. Many times I have reached out via email through the office app and He ALWAYS answers me within hours. His nurses are wonderful and knowledgeable. More than once while in his care has he treated me effectively and helped solve any issues I may have had. He and his staff are truly bright and compassionate souls.

I recently moved to Lawrenceville and, based on reviews, gave this practice a try. I am beyond impressed with the ease in which I can get an appointment, get refills, and the overall care that the staff and my doctor, Van Riper are amazing, compassionate doctors. I am very pleased with my care.

I called to make an appointment. The lady was so rude to me asking me what type of insurance I have. I said my insurance and she kept saying they dont take medicaid. I told her i dont have medicaid and i found this provider through my insurance portal. She kept being rude so I just said you know what, never mind. Taking my business somewhere else...
