Lawrence Pharmacy

I’m usually not someone who leaves negative reviews, but unfortunately my experience has been very disappointing. We recently moved to the area and were told Lawrence was a wonderful, family-owned pharmacy. I was genuinely excited to switch my son’s medications from a chain pharmacy to a local business. My son has complex medical needs and has 8 or more prescriptions filled each month, so reliability and communication are extremely important to us. The location was also very convenient, being close to our home. Sadly, we have experienced issues with nearly every prescription we have attempted to fill. I didn’t want to have to write this, but here we are. I called a week ago to check on a prescription refill and was told the order would be submitted. When I came in on 12/4, I was given two prescriptions, but there was no mention of the additional two I had also requested. A male clerk looked into it and informed me that the pharmacy was waiting on the doctor’s office to respond and that a fax had been sent. To help move things along, I contacted my doctor’s office myself—called, texted my provider, and sent a portal message, but still received no update. Lawrence Pharmacy has been a stable vendor for many years in Deep Creek and I really enjoy the friendly faces I interact with while in the store. Even when I go to the drive thru, a smiling face greets me especially Marian!!! There is always someone to answer any questions relative to my prescriptions. Kudos to all the team players at Lawrence Pharmacy!! Keep up the great work.

2/22/2026 approx. 12:20pm - Just called in checking about a medicine in stock for my pet who has a severe leg injury. The woman I spoke with on the phone - I wish I got her name - was exactly the person I needed to speak with today. I am under a lot of stress right now and she was calm, empathetic, and gave me excellent information. Not able to fill yet but gave me the roadmap to do it tomorrow ASAP. Thank you to whoever the kind person on the other end of the line was.

This pharmacy is awesome. Rarely a line and the service is super. They always have our prescriptions ready.
