Excellent in every way! I saw Dr Hurst for trigger thumbs and fingers, and he was absolutely wonderful. He actually took time to listen carefully and patiently to me and took into consideration my other medical issues and concerns. He was thorough, skilled and highly knowledgeable in his exam, evaluation and treatment. He was very informative and explained clearly and understandably the physiology of my diagnosis, options, procedure and prognosis. Throughout, Dr Hurst was gentle, caring and compassionate. The office was immaculate, treatment well organized, staff friendly and helpful. Overall, I found Dr Hurst to be a top notch physician. Highly recommend.

Dr. Hurst is a highly skilled hand surgeon. He treated my hand issue with great care, was thorough, explained everything simply and answered all questions without thinking any one of them was ridiculous. He also treated a serious hand injury on my husband with great expertise. Excellent surgeon, highly recommend!

I had cubital (the main source of the problem) and carpal tunnel surgery with Dr Hurst six months ago at age 82. I had almost no feeling in the last two fingers of my left hand and there was a pronounced weakening of that hand - which was clearly getting worse. Dr Hurst said there was a good chance for a 70% improvement. Now six months later I would say there is a more than 90% improvement -- days go by when I forget that I ever had a problem with my left hand. I am right handed, but one uses one's other hand all the time.

I have had 3 surgeries with Dr. Hurst over the years and he is by far the most skilled surgeon I have dealt with. He fixed what 2 other surgeons were unable to repair, and his manner, attention to detail and concern were greatly appreciated. In my opinion, if you need a surgeon for anything orthopedic Dr. Hurst is by far your best option.

Overcharged me for something he did not do. 750$. I’ve used him for about 30 years for my kids and myself. I’m a retired nurse from the hospital and clinics he has his practice in. Never any professional courtesy. I’m done with him and his practice. Handed me a piece of tape to wrap my finger the exact way it was wrapped when I came in his office. When you hit 65 these doctors think you have a secondary plan and put in codes the increase the charges. I do not have a secondary plan so
