Laurels of Galesburg

My mom recently was admitted to the laurels and we are having a good experience especially with the DON Violet ,MSW Tammy, Nicole Business Manager, Tony L our CNA during the day and Tara and Sam CNA at night. The DON and MSW are wonderful answering many questions and helping us navigate through this new time in our lives. I've never done this and I'm going through the process with their guidance and it's making it much easier. I appreciate all the care and services they are giving to my mom .There are other people who assist her as well and I'm sorry I can't mention all them I don't know all their names but everyone we've come in contact has been very nice and kind to her.

A dear family friend has been admitted twice over the last several months. I have witnessed nothing but great care and compassion when interacting with those that care for the residents/patients. Through the difficulty of needing to be transferred to independent home care or assisted living, both Tammy and Nicole have worked miracles to give Bill the care he needs and deserves. Tammy has gone out of her way to ensure that Bill is comfortable. Ultimately, he was transferred to Park Place permanently. I am thankful for the care and compassion that was delivered through his time at The Laurel's.

When our family needed guidance and placement for my elderly parents, the staff At Laurels of Galesburg were able to make what could have been a complicated transfer seamless. My dear mother has been at the Laurels of Galesburg now for a little over two years. The staff has been wonderful. I visit daily and they have become a second family to us, treating all of us with kindness and even with love. They do a good job of anticipating her needs, and they are thorough and conscientious with her care. I especially want to commend the staff for keeping things running through this recent 60-hour power outage -- they handled the situation with professionalism and grace. As a retired RN myself, I know the challenges they face and I am happy to give them five stars.

They take care of there people good experience with the laurels but the best part was the social worker a beautiful Soul by the name of ms tammy she shows you that she’s actually cares and that she’s there for you and not just as a job but from her heart she’s a great listener helps you with whatever she can just a great person all around she made my stay feel a lot more better she checks on you makes you feel heard absolutely loved her
