First things first, you will schedule an appointment here and will actually be seen later than planned, even if you are the very first patient of the day. I was the first patient of the day and I still started my appointment 15-20 minutes late. I only wanted a checkup on my eyes because I have MS and my eyes are the only issues I have had trouble with moving, but they have recovered since my first episode. So I went for a checkup and made it clear I have no symptoms that I have had previously, I just wanted to make sure my eyes were healthy and I have had some weird feelings in my left eye. Doctor Houchin listened to my story and started testing me as if I did not have a diagnose already. I came back here 3 times within two months because he would schedule one blood test at a time instead

Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. We waited two hours to be seen, when finally called back, the doctor handed my BLIND husband 3 pieces of paper- test results I presume, got irritated when we asked questions, declined to explain anything to us, spent all but 30 seconds with us, acted like he was annoyed we were there then said “come with me”. Ushered us out to the reception and told his staff to schedule an MRI. No other explanation. No game plan. Strangest experience…. I’ve had plenty of doctors with poor bedside manner… this was on a whole different level.

DO NOT GO HERE, FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! I'm coming in from Alaska and years of visits with my primary eye Dr at Alaska Retinal Specialist (the best Dr I have seen) The staff here are very distant not welcoming and no compassion. This is my first time here and i staffwill never go back nor would I recommend it to anyone. Staff service horrible. I am disabled going through a very difficult situation and never once welcomed me in. They just looked at me as if I had a problem. I felt discriminated there and plan to follow through with further actions.
