DO NOT GO HERE! Malpractice, incompetent, and should have their licenses taken. I have a border collie. I have gotten to learn a lot about the herding breads since this occurrence and have had to take him to the emergency vet hospital. After my pup was neutered here the doctors, who I trusted at the time, gave him acepromazine for a sedative to keep him calm. This lead to 2 seizures! My aunt happens to be a vet, both her and the emergency vets were astounded he would ever give this to a border collie or any herding bread dog at the 50% chance they have MDR1 mutation which would make this medication UNSAFE for these dogs when there are other options like trazodone for the same effects and shown to be safe with these breeds. Lakeside Vet is an A++ place for pets . The clinic has a highly experienced Veterinary with a wonderful disposition. My cat Nala needed an abdominal hernia repair . The entire staff was professional and the Doctor did a fantastic job on the repair . Being a surgery nurse of 25 years I even appreciated the Docs incision!! It’s beautiful :) Nala is doing great . Trust worthy group of people! Big giant thank you !

For many years when I lived in Alpine, I took my dogs to Lakeside veterinary Hospital. Back then Dr. Flores was the vet. But I always had great care there. I took all my dogs and my geese there. I recently called just to find out the age of my elderly dogs, they looked in the computer and found the first time I ever visited there with my dogs, which was when they were very small puppies That helped a lot because one of my babies recently passed away and I simply wanted to be able to put a date of birth on her little memorial plaque ( She was just shy 14yrs). Remember everybody, you never Own your pets, they are simply Loaned to you. Love em everyday cherish them. .

We've been taking our dogs to the Lakeside Vet for years. Dr. Dixon and his team are awesome! Very knowledgeable and caring. They always address any questions or concerns we might have.

Love this down to earth and friendly vet office . Dr. Flores has an exceptional ability to diagnosis and cure. And has been my vet for over a decade. He has performed several surgeries on one of my rescues (chihuahua ) with fabulous success. He is an excellent surgeon. And much more reasonable than most. Trust him completely .
