Lakeside Gastroenterology - The Woodlands

Its unfortunate that I have to leave this review. They did wonderfully with my procedure and made sure I felt comfortable. However their followup is HORRIBLE! I have called half a dozen times and each time I have to re-explain myself and be told "we'll pass along the info to the dr". Its been a month and a half since I stopped bothering to call them and they still havent gotten back to me.

WOW! Just WOW! It takes a bit to impress me, but Dr. Tajong and staff did just that today. I took my oldest son to see him on a referral from a dear friend. Everyone was pleasant and on time. Punctuality goes a long way with me. We did not feel rushed at all. Dr. Tajong spent time with my son and really listened to him. We left the office with peace of mind and the opportunity to get back to the office with questions or return for a follow up visit if warranted. I will definitely tell all of my friends about our experience. Thank you for being standout healthcare professionals!!!

This is not my first review, it’s a follow up. I recently received a fire letter. This comes after I made an appointment and told the staff I wanted the appointment so that I could inform the doctor of the actions of his staff! I travelled 3 hours and was less than 15 minutes late, when I was turned around and denied service. I was signed in, seated, unpacked with a toddler, called to the back, packed back up, insurance verified, and a consultation was had between staff members, before I was informed that I could not be seen because I wasn’t there at my appointment time and could not be seen. I asked about the grace period and was told it was 11:20 and that my appointment was at 11. I said it couldn’t be and pulled out my phone to check, the time said 11:16 but as I turned it to the lady

***DO NOT GO HERE! You will be treated as though you are just a number. There is no personalization, no follow-up. Every interaction costs more money. You will be charged just to be given a prescription. The staff does not care and will only say “they are following orders”. I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE! Ask your primary to refer you somewhere else. If I could give 0 stars, I would.

What a dedicated and empathetic doctor with his patients, I include myself in the list of those patients, he strives to find options and help the patient feel better. Thank you Dr.Nelson Tajong
