Lakeside Dental Arts

My first dental appointment after 15 years spent avoiding all dentists. My husband has been broadcasting of how wonderful Lakeside Dental Arts is, so under a “must go” situation with my tooth, I made an appt. & soon;next day. I love the large windows in each room providing a relaxing beautiful view of Lake Jackson. The rooms are very clean. Each staff member, Dentist and hygienist I was under the care of were friendly and made a “nervous me” feel completely comfortable and exceeded my expectations.

Dr Willey and the staff members I met for the first time today promised that I would get their best efforts to meet my dental needs that we agreed to after a very thorough examination that clearly presented the needs and options to meet them. And I was pleased that they started by scheduling my next appointment in just 2 days to accommodate my time frame as a snowbird. I'm giving a five-star rating and hoping to follow up with another five-star rating after each procedure which follows.

This was my first visit, I got an awesome tour, the place smelt like a five star dentist area hahah, pretty awesome. There’s also coffee and juice and water where you sit and a restroom that is very clean. You can see what universities the dentists went to on the wall and much more which is pretty cool. You get a cool bag with stuff I absolutely touched them all of course. Everyone is absolutely nice all smiles. I was seen by Helvey who quickly found the solution to my problem and gave me the proper paperwork and referral to get it done. Oh and there’s also a cool menu for comfy stuff and a small tv for you to look at when you look up. And to finish it off there’s an upfront fee to pay out of pocket but I get a claim so the military can reimburse me (hopefully 🤞) you know how they can be.

Been going to Dr Willey for 37 yrs and what a blessing he is. Would go to no place else. But ...this time I needed a dreaded root canal which I was deathly scared of. Wanted to cancel many times but just had to get it over with. I went with Dr.Mousa ..which is a endodontist there. If anyone is scared like me and needs a root canal done..please go to Dr Mousa. He was sooo gentle ,kept you informed what he was doing and always asked if you needed a break. To my surprise it didn't hurt a bit and was over before I knew it. Thank YOU Dr. Mousa for making my procedure as comfortable as you can. The entire staff was wonderful! Thank you Dr Willey for having a great staff !!!

7/16/25 finally got Mom in. It was her first time and she was treated like a regular. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Dr. Willey was very informative, clear and logical about steps to better oral health for my 97 y/o Mom. She also had a full cleaning by Tarin and that was great. Thank you to all and especially Katie for her "above and beyond" help with Mom.
