Lake Martin Community Hospital

Doctor sent me here to have an EKG since I've been hurting in my chest. While being checked in they we were on personal cell phones. I've been setting in the waiting room for 45 minutes, So I finally was called back, Dr. Office sent me down, but did not send any orders, but told me he would. Not hospital's fault, but Doctors.

Awful experience. Left in worse condition than when I arrived and wasn'teven seen. Subpar medical facility all around. Rude nursing staff, they definitely don't care. Ended up leaving and going to EAMC, where I was seen quickly, and respected by the staff from the time I arrived, until the time I left.

Please don’t go here.negative experience after negative experience. On one instance a relative came in with a sub pubic catheter that was clogged not passing urine after already almost dying from a different inf that cause the catheter. No one knew what to do and doctor was on “lunch” meanwhile said relative is screaming in pain barely able to walk. Another instance during Covid when we came in we weren’t allowed a relative in the room (against hippa) which trumps policy. The guy over the hospital comes out no mask and offers a handshake after denying entrance. Really. Surprised it’s not shut down. There’s a few people there like Jamie and Brandon , but most of the doctors and night staff aren’t worth their degrees.

Great little country hospital...they've saved my accident prone husband more than a time or two! The doctors and nurses have all had the best attitudes, and they're always willing to work on ya even when you may not have the cash to cover the entire costs. They've just opened their new sleep study lab, and we're looking forward to taking advantage of that opportunity close to home (and considerably more affordable). We owe this hospital much gratitude, and I'm thankful they're there to service our rural community! ...but the picture with this listing is definitely not Lake Martin Community Hospital.

Pure junk. Fell and I injured my back. I came in serious pain. The Close Cut Female with Tats everywhere at the front desk was standoffish with me. Not one ounce of compassion. They stated that they had people waiting in cars. Went outside and not one person was in a car in the small parking lot. No Triage, but people were just walking around. They would not even take my blood pressure or even send me for X Ray. Very bad experience. I left without being seen. Heading to a Real Hospital. Beware of this place.
