Lake City VA Medical Center

Tooth breaks last night so I google to see what time to be there for sick call(will attach screenshot of google response if allowed) and it says sick call is from 730-8. I arrive at 742 and they tell me sick call is off. I show the lady she says 7-730. I show the lady at the check-in desk googles response and she shrugs. Dont you love when people point fingers instead of fitting veterans in due to a misunderstanding? And then people wonder why AI and robotics will outsource and take jobs. Id rather a computer deny me than a human. Humans have compassion, just not for us veterans.

(I wanna give a special Kudos to the Lake City, FL - VA-Emergency room and the Pharmacy staff)Thank you guys Sure, you may get someone on a day they shouldn't be at work coz they're being a jerk, or you shouldn't have came because you're being a jerk. It happens. But in the last three years, every employee at the Lake City VA has been nothing but wonderful to me, and I no longer get stressed out when I have to go. I truly appreciate all of you

I went to the Lake City emergency department with acute pain in lower back. from triage and treatment the staff was wonderful, personal and caring. even security opened the door for us. The doctor and nurse treated me and was released quickly. The nurse, Paige, was very observant watching me while I attempted to stand and walk. She stopped by the room and talked with us on different subject. This is my first visit to a VA emergency room and they made us very comfortable. Eventhough you don't want to visit the emergency room, I hope future visits will be this pleasant.

I wish this was my local VA. I had to drive an hour to this location due to the extent of my suffering but it was worth it for the care I received. The staff is exceptional. Friendly and welcoming. They listened to me and did their best to make me feel better. Hope they know how much I appreciate them. 10/10, A++, Love u guys.

I feel neglected and abandoned as a veteran who need immediate dental help to save me from going through infection spread. The earliest appointment is June and community care is 4/22 but I had to get patient advocate to get that appointment. What’s the point of sick call when I can’t get emergency dental care. I have a family who needs me but all this dental place do is chill and play with ppl health. Im so stressed since moving here to see how trash the dental office is here. Decatur VA Dental seen me same day and got me help the next day because of serious issues with of a previous infected root canal. I have to go to a free dental clinic to be seen promptly. My last root infection caused me have septic symptoms and I do not want to feel that way again! Being the teeth needing pulled is
