Lake Avenue Dental

This was my first visit to this office. When I called to schedule, I was explicitly told that they accepted my insurance. There was no mention of potential issues, partial coverage, out-of-pocket costs, copays, or fees. When I arrived for my appointment, there was no financial review, no disclosure, and no indication that my insurance would not be accepted in full before services were rendered. At no point was I given the opportunity to make an informed decision or decline care based on cost. After the service was completed, I was then charged $344 for a routine cleaning! and told, “so sorry.” I was not in an emergency situation and was not in a rush. It is a very nice place. From the moment you enter the reception area you feel at home. The personnel are very friendly and professional.
