Stuck in hallway in ER for 1 day abs in a hallway in a unit for a day and a half before getting a bed. Dr's. Are sub par compared to my regular hospital which is tufts. If you are prescribed any controlled medication this is not the hospital for you. They stopped or changed medications I've been prescribed for years for absolutely no reason whatsoever. Nurses were great though. About the only positive takeaway. The hospital looks like it hasn't been updated or had any renovations since the 80,s. Very old and basic hospital

This may be the best hospital I’ve ever been to. If you sort through many of the reviews, a lot seem to be about billing, but my review is solely about the exceptional medical care I received. I had open heart surgery performed by Dr. Shaker, and he and his entire team are truly top-tier. Dr. Shaker’s skill is remarkable, and the level of care from his team was outstanding. I was in the hospital for about a week, and even after I was discharged, I could call his team at any time over the following four weeks and receive almost immediate responses—just as if I were right there in person. Although Laheyhas many well qualified MDs on staff, they lack in communication and bedside manor. I was transferred to Lahey fir an acute medical illness that required admission. My regular Hospital, just as large and now I believe truly a better Hospital was on bypass, no beds, so Lahey it was, very sad.

This hospital is top notch. The nurses staff and doctors are all extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They give you straight information with no filler. Care has always been comfortable, and professional. I’m an annoying patient due to my ADHD. They’re never rude or disrespectful, even when I start talking too much. I have had two surgeries here, if I need another this is the only place I’ll ever go for healthcare

I’ve been a patient at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington since 2009, and my experience across both the inpatient and outpatient departments have consistently been excellent. The staff is compassionate, professional, knowledgeable, and attentive; and except one occasion I’ve always felt genuinely cared for at every stage of my treatments. The hospital is clean, bright, well organized, and the teams work together in perfect harmony. My long history here reflects the trust and confidence in the quality of care they deliver. Five stars.
