This is the best hospital in the world, with the best primary care provider Clare Gibson - always carefully explaining, never pushing you into what you do not want. The rest of the team is amazing too. Somehow everyone is extremely kind and very knowledgeable. After experiencing some horrible for profit places, I can reliably say that Lahey is totally and only pro-patients. Complete billing transparency, no confusions or misunderstandings. I only mind that there is no OB department within Lahey.

I think I'm done with this. I've been a patient here for the last 4 years and have had nothing but problems. Parking is always difficult, their software and systems are difficult to use, the building layouts are confusing and I'm often sent to multiple buildings, and the bottom line is that the care has not been good at all. My PCP pushes very heavily for medications I don't need and I am constantly having bills that are hundreds of dollars without any warning or transparency. Any PCP that charges for asking a question should be avoided at all costs.

Website let's me add one of their practitioners as a PCP, then when I tried to make an appointment the receptionist said they aren't accepting new patients (even though the website already accepted me). Receptionist hung up on me mid-sentence.

I am extremely disappointed with their service. I’ve been waiting for a year after booking an appointment, only to have it canceled the day before. Additionally, my PCP has been changed three times without any notice, and I have yet to meet my assigned PCP. Every time I try to schedule an appointment, I’m assigned to a different doctor. On top of that, I never receive a call or message, even when my reports come back abnormal. I’ve never experienced such a level of unprofessionalism in my life.

Care & billing have gone down hill since Beth Israel took over. I've been on hold for up to an hour as I drove to Lahey. I walked into super isor's office to show them how long I was still waiting to get my call through. My primary care physician transferred and I can't get a doctor to replace him. I'm 70, 100 percent disabled and been with Lahey Burlington for 13 years. I was told 6 physicians have left, one died and there are no doctors taking patients. I was offered a nurse practitioner, which seems inadequate for someone with multiple strokes, brain aneurysm, high BP, etc. I'm thankful they have walk in & ER where I can still get care. Otherwise, I can leave Burlington & go to another location. Neither seem like a good option.
