Lafayette Children's Clinic

On Monday my two month old babygirl came down with a high fever. We called Lafayettes office and spoke with the on call nurse, where she advised us to bring her in to be seen. Once we got there, we saw dr Rundus which is her normal dr. Multiple blood tests were done, and dr Rundus came to the conclusion she had pneumonia but couldn’t be sure without an X-ray. From there we were sent to Vanderbilt Children’s hospital for an X-ray and further care. X-ray confirmed the suspicions. My daughter was there for 24 hours. Once released we scheduled a follow up visit with her Dr in the gallatin office. They did more blood tests to see where she was. We are forever grateful for dr Rundus. I would not recommend this place if your child needs care or for them to CARE about what is going on with your child! Horrible place. Not just once, not just twice BUT three twice they have made us have to comeback OR we would have to go somewhere to fix the problem with our child. Never again!

My children see Dr Tackett and Dr Vizcarra. They’re both amazing. I like the NP and PA too. Very nice. Easy to get an appointment and referrals if you need it. I definitely feel listened to and respected.

We have been taking our son here since he was 3 he now is 13.. the staff is Amazing . The Doctors are very helpful in explaining any diagnosis, they make you feel very comfortable..

The staff is always nice and helpful. They actually listen to me when I take our girls in to see the doctor. They also will talk to our girls though our oldest is the only one who will answer the questions as our youngest is very shy.
