La Peer Pediatrics

I procrastinated and didn’t schedule my pediatrician interviews until 38 weeks 🤭 I had a meeting scheduled, but went into labor! They sent a doctor, Dr. Crosby and she was the most amazing doctor and had an immediate connection with my baby, which is PRICELESS. Then, we had insurance issues. Office was awesome and offered a discount for cash payments. Can’t beat that! The staff is always welcoming and friendly and we LOVE our nurse, LESLEY!!!

They charge $450 a year as an admin fee that covers “filling out forms” according to the desk staff. We have not been able to get an appointment with our Doctor for years without waiting for 3-4 months. So we have to see some random doctor every time we visit (which btw is one time per year for a physical so we pay 450$ for about 45 minutes of care per year in addition to whatever thousands of dollars they’re billing insurance.)

We just moved to the area and I have a two month old who hasn’t even been vaccinated yet. The woman at the front desk told me they don’t take transfer patients...? I said at two months he hasn’t really seen anyone as he isn’t even vaccinated until three months? She said he was considered a transfer patient. This place also charges an annual fee, that they won’t wave for the first visit to see if you and the doctor are a good fit? What a joke, I found a much better pediatrician and reception at miracle mile pediatrics.

have been a patient here for years and can't say enough about the doctors. however, don't expect the front desk to help with much. endless phone holds and rude answers to questions where you get berated for even asking in the first place. my experience today was what prompted this review; i was told they don't "answer the phone on a dime" when all i had was a surface level question. shame because of the amazing facilities they have!

We’ve been going to this practice for more than 10 years. Fantastic quality care, a responsive administrative team, and conveniently located. Doctors are always available and patient care is their highest priority. 10 stars for La Peer Pediatrics :)
