La Mesa Family Health Center

Went to Dr. Priya Chakrabarti for my colposcopy. Her and her medical assistant were so amazing. I was nervous for this visit and have never had the urge to write a google review so much because I was told that this appointment could be painful but it was the exact opposite. They made me feel so comfortable and everything was so well explained. If you are going to have this done I highly recommend Dr. Priya Chakrabarti 100%. Was basically painless and just couldn’t have had a better experience!

I have had a couple of appointments with Family Health Center before but i especially love their new location here in La Mesa. It was a bit confusing to find at first but once you do you are met with a brand new and very modern looking clinic. I love how close to home this new location is and my new gynecologist and women’s doctors are truly the best at what they do. They always make sure to listen to what I have to say and i always feel comfortable walking in and out of my appointments. Even the nurses helping the doctors during the appointments are extremely nice and helpful. Everyone here truly goes above and beyond and always have a smile doing it. The only negative thing I have to say is the lady up front has a horrible attitude and obviously is new to Family health center. She tried

The worse communication, today I had and appointment in person, they called me earlier and said that the doctor had to leave early because of emergency but they can do my appointment by phone I said okay. At 2:20pm they called me to do the check in and everything and told me to wait 20 to 40 minutes I waited like an hour or more and nobody called me, then I decided to called and asked they told me the doctor was busy with other patients but she’s going to call me and I said is fine. I wait and wait and after and hour called again and asked they told me the same doctor is busy and behind but she’s going to call me and I wait. Like around 4:45 I called again and ask they told me doctor left already and she put a note that she called me and couldn’t communicate with me and of course I got ups

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Eric Turner today and he is like the best and most thorough doctor I have ever met. I love his personality and professionalism. I will be making him my doctor permanently. I don't leave reviews often but I felt compelled to do so for this one. Thanks Doc you got a patient for life. 😆

The nurses were gentle and reassuring, and the doctor was attentive, knowledgeable, and took the time to answer all my questions without rushing.
