L.A. Downtown Medical Center - Downtown Campus

Place is horrible, was there recently with a family member after their surgery and I over heard staff talking about having to restrain patients because they did not enough “sitters”. While I was there a younger patient managed to get into one of the restrained patients room while staff was all off the floor somewhere. Don’t know what happened exactly, but I heard a bunch of staff talking about the young patient doing something to the patient that was restrained. I’m glad that we got discharged and will never want a family member to come to this hospital.

My mother recently had surgery at this Hospital. She spent two days and one night here. She was able to have her own room on the 6th floor. Night nurse Kristine and her CNA were amazing. I stayed with my mother all night and was glad to see the nurses constantly checking in on her and making sure she was comfortable. Every staff member we interacted with was very polite and helpful. Thank you LADMC!

They were more concerned about the xmas party than taking care of patients. I rang the little bell for 2 hours and finally someone came in. It was someone to clean the floor. I left and had to sign that i wouldn t sue before they let me leave. Not one pain pill was given after spine surgery. I was afraid to stay there after the way i was treated.

Ladies and gentlemen I am very disappointed with the quality of service that I received at this facility and also there facility that they have in the city of Rosemead California I am not convinced at how many stars that they be promoting themselves to have received because supposedly they are a great place to go seek help for your mental health issues i hope this place gets shut down or better train there staffers to be more cordial with patients instead of being so rude to patients

I am deeply disappointed with the care I received under your supervision, and it baffles me how you maintain a 5-star rating given the poor experience I endured I truly hope you guys shutdown for good especially your psych hospital in Rosemead that place far off the worse of the worst people come out of there far off worser than when they went in and the rooms be smelling like ficis or urine it's incredibly nasty as hell
