I have a friend there and she is very happy I saw a willingness to care fote the residents and their guests.

I can't say enough good things about this nursing home. My dad was in hospice while at Highlight (formally Crossroads Care). I live out of state and was not able to be with him as much as I wanted. I am his only famiy so it was hard on both of us. But the staff was amazing and treated him like family. I never had to worry about his care when I wasn't there. They showed great concern, took care of his needs in a timely manner and made sure he was comfortable at all times. Although the facility itself is older and not in perfect condition, the staff more than made up for it. The grounds were peaceful and the staff clearly love their jobs. My son was involved in a very serious motorcycle crash and suffered TBI and was unable to walk or use his right arm. He spent 3 months at Highlight Healthcare for his rehabilitation. The staff was professional, caring and kind. The physical, occupational & speech therapists were dedicated to helping him to walk/use his arm again and work on his cognitive issues. The team kept us informed of his progress. His injuries required more intensive rehab and Highlight Healthcare helped him meet the requirements necessary to go the Shirley Ryan Ability Lab for the next level of therapy. We are forever grateful for their care. We look forward to seeing the upcoming renovations that are planned for the facility.

poor technology choice had a frustrating time and spam from check in machine but aside from that facility is nice and well managed

Nightmare from the getgo, my husband went there after a short hospital stay. we left after 3 Days! Building was dirty and showed a lot of deferred maintenance, just not well kept at all ( I'm being nice), nursing was inattentive and the so called Administrator is Not Even Licensed. (Which is a State Requirement per IDFPR.) Would rate 0 stars if possible. Avoid this place at all costs.
