If I could leave -1 I could. Absolutely terrible customer service, they sent my bill to collections which I was not even aware that I had a bill from this laboratory since I never been there before when call and asked for information the person in the phone was extremely rude and did not help at all. This office is a complete joke.

Terrible experience. They sent my son's bill from his hospital birth to collections. I had never even received a bill or statement. The hospital had my correct address and medicaid number, and a year later I start getting calls from collections for a bill I never even knew existed. I had a similar scenario with another provider associated with the hospital and when I was made aware of the bill, I called, they immediately pulled it back from collections, apologized, said they had a returned mail report for it, and since they never attempted further contact, they waived the bill (that was 3-4x the amount of the KWB bill). This can be lengthy so bear with me. KWB had received incorrect information about my insurance so they did not receive their own payment. (Yet my own gynecologist received their payment “with the right number”). They failed to even call me to confirm that the number they had was correct (WHICH IT WASN’T) after THREE months of trying to get in contact with my “insurance”. Even though, KWB states they do not call insurances and my own insurance Avmed states they have never received any of the three claims KWB says they sent. Of course they haven't, you never sent it to the correct company ANYWAYS. KWB sends me a $255 bill that if I don’t pay, it was going to go to collections. After going back and forth with KWB and Avmed, even putting us in a 3 way call because KWB doesn’t call insurances (

They wrongly billed me and refuse to amend it. Never sent me a bill, claimed the hospital gave them an address that is not mine and told me to call the hospital and I’d see they were right. I called the hospital to find not only that the address the hospital has for me is my correct address(NOT THE ONE THE CLAIMED TO BE GIVEN), but also that they have no record of sending my information to KWB. Even the collections agency they sent this bill to was able to find that KWB had the wrong contact information for me. Employees refuse to provide information about the establishment, they are antagonistic, they laughed as I became stressed by their refusal to try and amend the situation. Awful business.

I give them a 1 for doing the work, but they fail in all other categories. I too had the "billing scam" where they dont send a bill and then threaten collections ($57!). Won't fax or email a copy of the bill. Billing agent was rude and unhelpful. Consider asking your Dr. to choose a different pathplogy lab as I will be doing going forward.
