This review is not directed towards the OD, but towards the vision center that assists her patients. They don't educate their customers on what they're buying and only go out to make a sale. A relative of mine went in to make an appointment and came out with a $500 receipt for glasses before even having the eye exam. There return policy states NO REFUNDS ALLOWED on lenses if the customer changes their mind. I worked as an optician at another location before and went in and asked questions concerning what my relative bought. The person that helped be dodged questions and avoided stating how poor the quality was of the lenses were. The vision center there only want to take advantage of people that aren't familiar with optical. I wouldn't go there or any Whylie's EVER.

I have been to Dr Copple for years. I travel over 3 hours to see her. My last appointment was horrible. She changed the diameter of my contacts. The fit was horrible, they were uncomfortable and irritated my eyes. I learned from another professional, the diameter does not change, unless there is trauma to the eye. Also, the customer service at Whylie was horrible. I ordered a pair of glasses, was given a total on a business card, and they took my credit card. I was never given a receipt. When I requested one, they said they would email it. When I never got a receipt from them, I looked at my credit card online, and saw they charged me an additional $150, for no reason. The order was canceled, and management did nothing but disrespect me. They lost my business, they have become very greedy.

I came in to schedule an appt. While looking at some new frames, I overheard the office girls talk about people having Medicaid and what types of cars they drive, I was immediately turned off. These people have NO clue why someone uses Medicaid. I wonder if the Dr knows how they act in front of prospective patients. I’m fairly confident they are violating HIPPA laws doing so. Needless to say I left, and headed to Target Optical.
